Trains from Pontedera (22km) will get you to Florence in 40 minutes or Pisa in 15 minutes.

The nearby resort of Castelfalfi (7km) offers some excellent restaurants, a wonderful spa and a great adventure park for climbing enthusiasts. There are some excellent wine producers in the area, with wine tastings and visits to the cantina available. Guided tours, chef services, chauffeur-driven visits and tastings can all be organised on request.
