Villa Recanati, Val D'orcia, Private Pool, Jacuzzi, Wifi

We had the most wonderful stay, largely thanks to our incredible hosts, Emiliano and Irina. They truly went above and beyond for us from the moment we arrived. When we accidentally got off at the wrong bus stop, Emiliano kindly came to pick us up, even making two trips in his car to collect our whole group. Later, when one of us realised a bag (with passport) had been left on the bus, he personally took my friend to the station, called his police contact, and miraculously got everything sorted.
The house itself is absolutely stunning - it is huge, beautifully maintained, and set in the most gorgeous location with breathtaking 360° views. The amenities are fantastic: a heated hot tub, a gorgeous pool area, laundry room, small gym, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Emiliano gave us a great tour of the property, was generous with his time, and helped us in countless ways - from booking taxis and translating when drivers didn’t speak English, to providing tea, guiding us through the wine cellar, and making sure we had everything we needed.
It is worth noting that the property is very remote, so a car is definitely recommended. That said, Emiliano’s kindness and support made it easy for us to get around and fully enjoy our stay.
We are so grateful for everything he did for us and cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. Emiliano and his wife are the kind of hosts who makes a trip truly special - thank you for everything!

I hereby want to share my feedback on my stay because it was truly excellent. The beautiful location made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. What made the experience even more special was the very helpful gentleman managing the property on site, he was always kind, attentive, and ready to assist with anything I needed. Thanks to both the setting and the warm hospitality, I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay.

Our stay at Villa Licia in Tuscany was truly amazing. It was the perfect place for our family vacation and to celebrate our mother’s/grandmother’s 80th birthday. We were a group of 12 people, from ages 6 to 80, and we all had an unforgettable time.

The house was fantastic – big, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. The area around the house was even better: stunning views of the Tuscan hills, a great pool and spa, and lovely outdoor spaces where we could eat and relax together.

Emiliano, the host, made our stay extra special. He didn’t just treat us like guests – he made us feel like family. His warm personality and positive Italian energy were unforgettable. He helped us with everything we needed, always answering quickly and with a smile. His recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, and activities made our trip even better.

We already miss Emiliano and his kindness. We can highly recommend Villa Licia and Emiliano to anyone wanting a wonderful stay in Tuscany. We hope to come back one day!

The villa was amazing. We had a wonderful time staying there. The outdoor swimming pool has a great view on surrounding hills. It has no close neighbours and far enough from the road. We were 11 friends staying there for 9 days. We were greeted by Emiliano who was a great host and available if we needed anything. The villa has a well-equipped and big kitchen making it easy to prepare meals for our big group. The villa lies close to the small and lovely town of Chiusi and was a good base for exploring Umbria and South Tuscany.

We stayed at this charming villa for a week and immediately fell in love with the place and the beautiful surroundings. It is perfect for large families or groups of friends traveling together. The pool, gym, wine cellar, charming outdoor dining area, a cute little playground, and a kitchen garden are just some of the reasons why we had the best vacation at Villa Licia. The host was extremely helpful with any questions we had during our stay. We offer our warmest recommendation and thank you for a great vacation.

We stayed as a group of 11 and we had the most amazing time. The villa was absolutely stunnig, with many lovely places to explore. The rooms were all super clean and the kitchen was well equipped for all purposes. A highlight was definitely the wineceller, providing the perfect location for tastings as well as some party in the night. The pool got cleaned every day and was great and refreshing.

I cannot thank the keyholder, Emilliano enough. He was the best host, provided us with amazing insight into the region and showed us some of his favourite spots. He even joined us for dinner once and invited us for an aperitif. If we had any questions, he always responded immediately and supported us in our holiday planning.

The only negative of the holiday was that we were not provided the correct address on Airbnb and therefore had to connect directly with Emilliano to get to the villa.

Besides that the stay was absolutely perfect and we all agreed on visiting Villa Licia again. Since the first minute it was the perfect get-away and we loved it very much!
