This street is home to the valuable museum system of the Musei di Strada Nuova, which links three important Genoese palazzi: Palazzo Doria Tursi (Palazzo Grimaldi Niccolò), included in the Palazzi dei Rolli, and seat of the city's municipal administration where the violin that once belonged to Paganini is housed; Palazzo Bianco (Palazzo Grimaldi Luca) where Caravaggio's masterpieces are collected; and Palazzo Rosso (Palazzo Brignole Sale Rodolfo and Francesco).
On Via Garibaldi there are also: Palazzo Lomellino Niccolosio (Palazzo Podestà) and Palazzo Pallavicini Tobia, seat of the current Chamber of Commerce. The Palazzi dei Rolli are a priceless heritage of Genoa. In the days of the ancient Republic, the Rolli were the most beautiful palaces and residences of the noble Genoese families.

Authentic accommodation in the center of Genoa
Very authentic accommodation in the center of Genoa. It was an interesting experience for us to stay in an apartment decorated with many vintage artifacts. Both the bedroom and the bathroom facilities were comfortable and well-maintained. The accommodation is a true gem for art lovers and those seeking a stay with character and history.

F - Un vaste et très bel appartement à l'arrière d'un des palais des Rolli donc très bien situé au 2° étage avec ascenseur. Il est de plus agréablement décoré par un propriétaire ami des arts. La récupération des clefs (guidée par vidéo) s'est faite sans problème et la personne était à l'heure pour le check-out. Une excellente adresse I - Un appartamento grande e molto bello sul retro di uno dei palazzi dei Rolli, quindi molto ben posizionato al 2° piano con ascensore. È anche piacevolmente arredato da un proprietario che è un amico delle arti. La consegna delle chiavi (guidata tramite video) è avvenuta senza intoppi e il check-out è stato puntuale. Un indirizzo eccellente GB - A large and beautiful apartment at the rear of one of the Rolli palaces, so very well located on the 2nd floor with elevator. It is also pleasantly furnished by an owner who is a friend of the arts. The key handover (guided by video) went smoothly and departure was on time. An excellent address
