La Piazza di San Donato, built by the monks of Vallombrosa in the 15th century, is located in the town of Reggello on the slopes of the Pratomagno massif, like a balcony looking out over the marvellous Valdarno and Chianti landscapes. This privileged position is the perfect staging point for visits to Tuscany’s major art cities – Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Certaldo, Cortona – and the entire Chianti region.
