This is the perfect place to explore this part of Tuscany with many of the famous villages and landmarks within an hours drive and Florence about 2hrs away. If you are after peace and quiet then this is the place for you, it's in a beautiful surrounding and is very rustic, its well furnished, comfortable and clean. it is outside of the village which has its own small shops, the nearest larger town is about 15 mins away. As per someone else's comment, you are high up so it can get a bit nippy in the evenings and first thing in the morning, as an example there was about a 5 degree difference in temperature at the base of the mountain to where the villa is situated..., the hosts are lovely and very helpful and the pool is about a 3 minute walk from the property, overall a great place if you want to get away from it all and have a base to tour from...

Die Lage, die Einrichtung, das besondere Flair aus der Vergangenheit. Die liebevolle Blumendeko , der Obstkorb sowie der vorzügliche Wein zum Empfang. Außerdem der herrliche Pool. Natur pur incl. Wildschweine, die in der Abenddämmerung zu sehen waren.
Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

Posizione fantastica per raggiungere i luoghi di maggior interessa nelle vicinanze. La dimora curata con estremo gusto in ogni dettaglio, dai fiori in ogni angolo della casa alla frutta sul centrotavola a disposizione degli ospiti, alla biancheria di qualità, agli spazi verdi intorno ricchi di fiori e piante aromatiche e alberi ad alto fusto e prati sempre rasati e ben tenuti. Letti comodi e "avvolgenti": un piacere andare a dormire. Il silenzio magico che avvolge l'eramo interrotto solo dal canto degli uccelli. La cortesia e disponibilità con cui siamo stati accolti.

Ideale Unterkunft zum Entspannen
Wir verbrachten eine sehr entspannte Ferienwoche in diesem Ferienhaus, ruhig und idyllisch gelegen am Ortsrand von Vivo d'Orcia. Am Anreisetag und am Abreisetag wurden wir freundlich und unkompliziert vom Personal empfangen. Die Wohnung ist komfortabel ausgestattet mit 2 Bädern, gut ausgestatteter Küche und vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Der Sitzplatz vor dem Haus lädt zum Verweilen morgens und abends ein. Der Pool befindet sich ca. 200m entferhnt und bietet Abkühlung an heißen Tagen. Von hier aus haben wir das schöne Orciatal erkundet, wobei die Straßen die Aufmerksamkeit des Fahrers fordern. Tipp: Für den Restaurantbesuch empfiehlt sich die Reservierung.

A little bit of heaven on earth! Almost don’t want to write a review because this place is so special. Wish it could just be kept a secret! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay magical! The place we stayed in was the perfect blend of old and new. We were welcomed with fresh cut flowers, fresh fruits & vegetables, coffee and a bottle of wine from the cellar on the property! We were also able to peak in a couple of the other places on the property and each was equally appointed with just the right touches of a true Tuscan Villa! We are already planning our return!
